good things come to those who wait.

i had a fun and hilarious saturday night. it was topaz's turn to celebrate her 21st. it was me, her and john in john's trusty old rusty.. whew, i'm so glad that his car didn't break down or anything. it actually brought us to milwaukee and back to west bend. that was a relief.

anyways, on the way there we got lost for about 30 minutes somewhere in wauwatosa. john started freaking out, and i started saying a millions of sorries for not going on our map. he said its okay, no need to apologize, but i knew that deep inside he was ticked. thank god for topaz, for leading us to the freeway, that lead us to where we were going. we found a decent parking spot in one of those parking buildings, and we all decided not to wear our coats. bad idea, because it was freezing outside. i knew that booze would keep us warm, but still, i knew that having a coat was still a good idea. but i knew that my coat was too bulky and too big so i decided not to bring it anyways.

first stop was brew city. i should call that place "guy city" because everywhere i turn, hot guys come my way. all i can say is ooh wee! we all had one drink and they danced to "girls just wanna have fun" before we went to where we're supposed to go. Have a nice day cafe is john and mine's favorite place to be in downtown milwaukee. catchy name for a club, ey? but it gets pretty packed especially that saturday night we went. there was a line outside already waiting for us. it wasn't a long wait, maybe 5 minutes we got inside. and i was right, it was packed. we started hitting the dance floor and we were all grinding for about half an hour when john decides to buy the house special. it was the happy fishbowl with uv vodka in different flavors on the rocks.. we all shared it. we danced for another hour until i realized that i was already buzzed. then we all took shots of jaegerbomb and then topaz decides to buy another fishbowl and i bought another drink. so i was really out of it at the end of the night. we left the club at around 2:50 am.

thank god we didn't get lost this time on our way home. and i know, i know, john wasn't supposed to drive because he was drunk, but we didn't have anybody to drive us back home. about 15 minutes of the drive, topaz and i wanted to pee really bad and i couldn't hold mine any longer because i only went to the bathroom once. and we couldn't find any open gas stations so we took the nearest exit and found a dark place to do our deed. john was getting pretty sleepy when we got back to the freeway so he told us that he was gonna stop over the side of the road and sleep for a bit so he won't put us in danger. we all fell asleep. we were awaken by cop car lights behind us. i panicked but john said he'll handle it. he told the officer that he was tired and he wanted to pull on the side of the road to sleep for a little bit. he asked john if he has been drinking and he said yes, and the officer gave us a warning and told us that he couldn't what he just did and said that we should find a place to sleep like soon or closer. john drove again to the nearest exit and we were gonna find a hotel when he decided that he's just gonna drive home. so he did, and we got to topaz's place and he told me that we're gonna sleep in her driveway until it was safe for him again to take me back home. so we slept there for another 15 minutes (i think) and then drove back to west bend. i got home at around 4 am. the moral of the story? don't drink and drive. hehehe.
